The San Jose Sharks will have at least one of their players returning from Europe before the conclusion of the lockout. Defender Justin Braun has returned from Europe to have a wrist fracture examined. Kevin Kurz of CSN Bay Area has the report. Early reports have Braun suffering from some sort of fracture, but it's unclear whether that report is accurate; Braun's agent has indicated that the extent of the injury has yet to be determined. Braun also might be returning early in hopes that the NHL and the Players' Association will come to some sort of agreement. That agreement would allow for both sides to settle on a new CBA, which would in turn allow for the NHL season to begin. Braun might just be anticipating a potential announcement. At 25 years old, Braun has played a total of 94 career NHL games, scoring four goals and dishing out 18 assists. Braun has been playing overseas at Tappara Tampere in the SM-liiga in Finland.
