Elsewhere in the league one Former NHL Star proves what a Douche he is while another current star proves his kinder side.

Jeremy Roenick has been making his mouth go again, yeah go figure. Two years ago he was critical of his former Sharks team mate Patrick Marleau, saying he 'lacked heart'. It seems he has been repeating those comments recently. Quite why someone who never won a Stanley Cup of his own can pass judgement on a guy like Marleau beggars belief. This coming from a guy who spent his career trying to pick fights with opposing players or 'bully' other teams stars like Mike Modano of Dallas, only to end up looking a fool when a tough guy from the other team showed him up. Maybe Derian Hatcher should be employed to break his jaw again, although somehow Roenick will surely find a way of irritating the public again by opening his mouth.

On the other side of the coin is Alex Ovechkin who, despite receiving criticism on this blog for being an overrated player, showed just what a nice caring guy he is by visiting a girl in hospital. He might not always dominate games on the ice but he has certainly improved his standing as a person with this: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/alex-ovechkin-s-adorable-surprise-sushi-date-with-10-year-old-fan--video-131848093.html
