NHL - Penguins - Crosby the Goaltender

* The Penguins may have some competition in goal this season. Center Sidney Crosby was in net for the Penguins' front office dek hockey team Tuesday and helped Team Iceland to a 4-3 shootout victory at Cranberry Dek Hockey in Cranberry, Pa.
* Roughly 50 friends and family attended the game. Crosby shared coaching tips with his team and got the win, although it's not known how many saves he made.
* Crosby, a two-time Art Ross Trophy winner who helped Pittsburgh win the Stanley Cup in 2009, was aided by former Penguins teammate Colby Armstrong, who scored a goal.
* Crosby also played goalie in 2012 during the NHL work stoppage in a hockey ball league game in which he said he had a shutout but didn't face a shot.

Penguins employee Justin Mellor said:
"Getting to share the experience of playing with Sid was pretty special. It's something we will be talking about for a long time. This morning in the office, there's been multiple conversations along the lines of, 'I can't believe that happened last night.' We're all grateful that he took time out of his offseason routine to come and play. It's one of those stories you can tell your kids and grandkids years down the road, saying: 'Hey, I laced them up with Sidney Crosby once.'"
