Hawks @ Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2 - Tuesday, September 19, 2017
Anton Forsberg made 38 saves for the Chicago Blackhawks in a 5-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena.
Forsberg was part of the June 23 trade that sent forward Artemi Panarin to Columbus. Panarin had three shots on goal in 22:01.
Nick Schmaltz and Cody Franson each had a goal and an assist, and Laurent Dauphin, Jan Rutta and Vinnie Hinostroza scored for Chicago, which scored four goals in the second period.
Seth Jones scored twice for Columbus. He ended Forsberg's shutout with a goal 5:52 into the third period and scored a power-play goal with 3:19 remaining.


Detroit Red Wings @ Hawks 1-6 - Thursday, September 21, 2017
Brandon Saad had a hat trick for the Hawks in a 6-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings at United Center.

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Hawks 3-2 - Saturday, September 23, 2017
Joonas Korpisalo made 52 saves, and the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Blackhawks 3-2 at United Center. Lukas Sedlak (4:37) and Oliver Bjorkstrand (5:05) scored 28 seconds apart in the second period when the Blue Jackets took a 3-1 lead. Columbus took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Ryan Murray at 11:51 of the first period. Artem Anisimov tied it 1-1 at 16:50. Jonathan Toews scored on the power play with 1:21 left in the third period to make it 3-2. J.F. Berube made 18 saves for the Blackhawks.

Hawks @ Boston Bruins 2-4 - Monday, September 25, 2017

Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak each had a goal and an assist for the Boston Bruins in a 4-2 victory against the Chicago Blackhawks at TD Garden.
Pastrnak gave Boston a 1-0 lead 52 seconds into the game, and Jeremy Lauzon made it 2-0 36 seconds later.
Anders Bjork put the Bruins ahead 3-0 at 9:46 of the first period, but Brandon Saad scored with 47 seconds left in the first and John Hayden scored 10:09 into the second to get the Blackhawks within 3-2.
Bergeron scored at 4:10 of the third to make it 4-2. Malcolm Subban made 24 saves for the Bruins, and Corey Crawford had 19 for the Blackhawks.



Hawks @ Detroit Red Wings 4-2 - Thursday, September 28, 2017

Alex DeBrincat had a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks in a 4-2 win against the Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena. After trailing 2-1 following the second period, the Blackhawks scored three straight goals in the third. Tommy Wingels tied it 2-2 at 1:41 before DeBrincat scored on the power play at 8:16 to put Chicago ahead 3-2. Laurent Dauphin scored into an empty net with 1:25 remaining to make it 4-2. Anton Forsberg made 32 saves for the Blackhawks.
Michael Rasmussen and Libor Sulak scored for the Red Wings. Petr Mrazek made 37 saves.

Boston Bruins @ Hawks - Saturday, September 30, 2017

Corey Crawford made 38 saves for the Chicago Blackhawks in a 1-0 win against the Boston Bruins at United Center. Patrick Sharp scored on the power play 11:13 into the third period for the Blackhawks, who finished the preseason 4-2-0 and open the regular season Oct. 5 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Anton Khudobin made 35 saves for the Bruins, who finished the preseason 4-3-0 and open the regular season Oct. 5 against the Nashville Predators.


The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have assigned forward Vinnie Hinostroza to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs.They later announced that they have placed defenseman Michal Rozsival on long term injured reserve.
With this move, the Blackhawks training camp roster currently stands at 27: 16 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders. The Blackhawks begin the 2017-18 regular season at the United Center on Thursday against the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:30 p.m. That game can be seen on NBCSCH, streamed live online at NBCSportsChicago.com (NBCSportsChicago.com/BlackhawksStream) and the NBC Sports app, and heard on WGN Radio.
