Artem Anisimov scored with 3:45 left in overtime to give the Chicago Blackhawks a 3-2 win against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center. Artemi Panarin made the play happen when he skated around Taylor Hall in the right circle and took a shot before Anisimov converted the rebound from the high slot. Hall was caught on the ice for the entire 1:15 of 3-on-3 overtime.

Chicago forward Marian Hossa made it 2-2 with 2:11 left in the third period when he scored a power-play goal with goaltender Corey Crawford pulled for an extra attacker. The decision by Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville to pull Crawford seven seconds before Hossa was given his opportunity proved timely.
