"Fans help us a lot. I feel like we feel more confident here, so now we have to figure out why our road record (4-9-1) is not really good. ... We believe in our work, we believe in our coaching staff and now we try to stay as close as we can together to try and win games like this." Tarasenko said.
"I thought the first period they were fresh and their pace was high. Their puck movement was ahead of our pressure so we were going in and they were moving it by us. In the second period, which was our best period, we played for a long time, we caught up to them and hemmed them in quite a bit. Our pressure game ended up giving us all the scoring opportunities." Ken Hitchcock said
"[Tarasenko's] a world-class player and I think you see that. Tonight he made some great plays and he was definitely a factor in the game for sure." Devils coach John HynesHawks @ Blues 6-4 - Saturday, December 17, 2016

"I'm glad we're going to get a chance to have this Winter Classic game because I think people are really going to get a good feel for the type of emotion and the type of intensity that's around these games." Kevin Shattenkirk
"Our execution 5-on-5 is good enough to beat certain teams, but if we want to play with the top dogs we're going to have to execute at a higher level. Our determination on our 1-on-1's is going to have to increase dramatically if we want to play with the big dogs." Ken Hitchcock
"I think our team game had a real good trip as far as how we played with and without the puck. Finding a way to win in a tough building was huge for us tonight and Vinnie has great timing at the net hanging around and a good finish as well. That was a huge goal." Joel Quenneville
"It was kind of a wide-open game. We did a good job coming back there [down] 4-3, getting a goal in the first minute and then getting another one and then finishing it off with an empty net, so you've got to be happy being down going into the third on the road and coming away with two points." Patrick Kane

Blues Quotes
"It's not good enough. If we want to be a top team in the League and catch the top team in our division, we need to be better than that. We had spurts, but not enough spurts." Allen said."I'm glad we're going to get a chance to have this Winter Classic game because I think people are really going to get a good feel for the type of emotion and the type of intensity that's around these games." Hawks Quotes
"It's been a while since I scored my last [goal], but I feel like I've been getting a lot of chances so it's good to see one hit the back of the net. It's our biggest rival, obviously. We're at the top of the division with these guys, so anytime we can come here and beat them at their barn, it's huge. It was a great win." said Hinostroza, who hadn't scored since Nov. 19 against the Vancouver Canucks."I think our team game had a real good trip as far as how we played with and without the puck.
