Kogalymavia Airbus A321 Russian Air Crash

As someone who was personally affected by the Malaysian Airlines MH17 disaster, I know more than most just how tragic a plane crash is. I lost my best friend back in July 17, 2014.
Sadly another tragic plane disaster occurred this weekend (Saturday) when the Russian airline Kogalymavia Airbus A321, operating under the name 'Metrojet' broke up in mid-air. The plane crashed in the Sinai Desert after taking off from Sharm El-Sheikh and was heading to St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport. All 224 people on board (believed mainly to be holiday-makers) sadly died.
The first bodies (believed to be 196) recovered from the wreckage were sent back to St Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport on a Russian government plane and were taken to a morgue for identification. Grieving Russian have been leaving flowers at the airport. A second plane was due to leave Cairo Monday evening with further bodies onboard.
It is believed Muslim extremists were behind the attack, with an on-board bomb explosion behind bringing the plane down. Our thoughts are prayers are with the victims family and friends at this devastating time.

The BBC Website has a full report on the crash here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-34697416
Among those onboard included a 10 month old baby girl Darina Gromova with parents Aleksei and Tatiana. Which brings home just how disturbing these kinds of tragedies are.

"Without any doubt everything should be done so that an objective picture of what happened is created. So that we know what happened." Russian President Vladimir Putin said in comments cited by ITAR-TASS.
