Buffalo Game Off Due to Weather

Slow progress: Three more feet of snow are expected to rock Buffalo and western New York on Thursday - making the daunting dig-out even harder
NY Rangers @ Buffalo - Due to the continuing weather-related difficulties in the Greater Buffalo area and out of respect for the fans of the Sabres, Friday's game between the New York Rangers and Buffalo Sabres at First Niagara Center, NHL Game No. 291, has been postponed. A makeup date will be announced as soon as it can be confirmed.
Daunting task: This resident of Depew, New York, worked to clear his driveway after several feet of snowfall. Three more feet are expected today

Dozens of vehicles - most of them tractor trailer rigs - remain stranded on the New York State Thruway. Officials have struggled to reopen the highway

A lot of work just to let fido out: This little pup in Buffalo would surely have been lost in the snow, had her owners now shoveled a chasm in their driveway
