Phoenix @ Montreal 3-2
After Ekman-Larsson extended his point streak to seven games by scoring from the slot at 3:51 of the second period to give the Coyotes a three-goal lead, Montreal captain Max Pacioretty made it 3-1 with his team-leading 10th goal at 15:59. Pacioretty also set up Dale Weise's ninth of the season with Condon pulled for an extra attacker and 51 seconds remaining in the third period.
Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher, with an assist on Pacioretty's goal, extended their respective points streaks to six games. Torrey Mitchell sustained an injury and left at 7:46 of the third period. He did not return and did not travel with the team to New York. Phoenix opened the scoring 5:04 into the game when forward Anthony Duclair drove behind the Montreal net and attempted a wraparound shot. Hanzal stepped up and put home the rebound for his fourth goal. It was the fifth straight game Montreal has allowed the first goal, all within the first 5:04. Cheap Shot Shane Doan made it 2-0 with his fifth goal at 9:17 when he batted a rebound of Tobias Rieder's shot out of midair past Condon.
Ekman-Larsson extended his career-long point streak when he beat Condon after a failed clearing attempt by Montreal defenseman Jeff Petry.

Columbus @ Ottawa 0-3
It was a physical game; each team had 34 hits. The Senators' fourth line of Zack Smith between Curtis Lazar and Dirty Dog Chris Neil (who had a third period fight with Scott 'More Cow Bell' Hartnell) combined for 13 hits.
Ottawa defenseman Patrick Wiercioch left the game after colliding with Nick Foligno at 6:10 of the second period. Mark Borowiecki was shaken up after being hit into the boards by Blue Jackets Matt Calvert, but he returned to the game. Bobby Ryan left the game with 4:14 remaining in the third period when he was hit into the boards by Columbus defenseman David Savard, who was given a five-minute penalty for boarding and a game misconduct. Karlsson benefited from a Columbus turnover in the neutral zone on his first goal. Ottawa center Jean-Gabriel Pageau took the loose puck and his shot hit the left post behind McElhinney. The carom went out the other side to Karlsson, who had an open net for his fourth goal at 16:24. Karlsson made it 2-0 with 1:45 left in the second when his wrist shot from the right-wing boards changed direction and went into the net on McElhinney's stick side. The Senators had an apparent goal by Mika Zibanejad called back at 2:47 of the third period after a successful coach's challenge. Referee Kevin Pollock ruled McElhinney couldn't play his position because he was contacted by Columbus defenseman Fedor Tyutin as a result of a Borowiecki shove. The first period was scoreless after McElhinney stopped Mike Hoffman on a penalty shot at 14:09. Hoffman was breaking away when he was tripped by Kevin Connauton, causing Hoffman to fall into the net.
Hoffman went wide to the right and cut in on the penalty shot, but McElhinney made a save on the shot to the stick side.
Dave Cameron: "The fourth line … after a couple of our D got banged up, they took it upon themselves to give an emotional lift with some physicality, and we responded. I like old-time hockey. I like physicality, and I love it every shift."

NY Rangers @ Tampa Bay 1-2

Valtteri Filppula scored a shorthanded goal with 1:05 remaining in the third period to give the Lightning a 2-1 win. Dominic Moore scored to tie the game 1-1 with 6:17 remaining. Filppula's goal came after Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh lost control of the puck and J.T. Brown took it the other way to start a 2-on-1. Brown carried the puck through the offensive zone until Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist committed, and then he passed it to Filppula. It was the first game between the teams since the Lightning defeated the Rangers in Game 7 of the 2015 Eastern Conference Final. Tampa Bay played with five of their top nine forwards unavailable because of injury. Brown finished with 14:56 of ice time and had five hits and two takeaways. Alex Killorn's third goal of the season gave the Lightning a 1-0 lead at 14:47 of the first period off a wrist shot that beat Lundqvist at the near post. Early in the third period, Chris Kreider had a penalty shot after being hooked by Andrej Sustr on a breakaway. Tampa Bay goalie Ben Bishop made the save when Kreider tried to go to the five-hole. Moore scored his second goal of the season when he skated around the net and sent a wrist shot past Bishop at the far post with Jarret Stoll providing a screen.
New York had won 10 games in a row twice, during the 1939-40 and 1972-73 seasons.

Anaheim @ Florida 3-1

Fowler opened the scoring when he beat Luongo with a wrist shot from the slot at 16:39 of the second period, ending a shutout streak that spanned 111:43 of game action. After making big save after big save, Luongo let Fowler's shot find its way between his pads with Getzlaf standing next to him. Luongo had made 74 consecutive saves, going back to the Panthers' 5-4 shootout victory at Tampa Bay on Saturday, before Fowler scored on the power play. The Ducks not only killed all three Panthers power plays, they got a shorthanded goal when Cogliano made it 2-0 at 14:41 of the third period. With Kevin Bieksa in the box for roughing, Cogliano scored on a 2-on-1 after a turnover inside the Anaheim blue line. He took a pass from Shawn Horcoff and flipped a wrist shot past Luongo. Barkov cut into the lead at 16:08 with a wrist shot from the high slot that trickled in after hitting the bottom of Andersen's blocker. Jakob Silfverberg scored an empty-netter with 1:08 remaining for his first goal of the season.
Florida played its second game without defenseman Dmitry Kulikov, who will miss 2-4 weeks because of a knee injury. Aleksander Barkov, in his second game back after missing 10 because of a broken hand, scored in the third period for Florida. The Panthers, who were coming off a home-and-home sweep of the Lightning, failed in their attempt to win three games in a row for the first time this season.
