Columbus @ Toronto 3-1

The Maple Leafs had solid possession of the puck in the early going, but Korpisalo held the Blue Jackets in. The Blue Jackets took a 1-0 lead at 15:08 of the first period when Jenner scored his 15th goal of the season. Jenner, who also had an assist, redirected Seth Jones' slap shot from the right point past Reimer. Jenner had a good opportunity double the Blue Jackets' lead three minutes later when he stripped Dion Phaneuf of the puck at the Maple Leafs blue line and broke in alone. But after attempting to deke Reimer, Jenner shot wide. Wennberg made it 2-0 at 16:17 of the second period with his fifth goal of the season. Reimer stopped the initial shot, but could not handle the puck and when he dove out of his net to corral the rebound, Wennberg beat him to the puck and tapped it into an empty net. Boyes cut the deficit in half when he slammed a puck in from the side of the net at 17:33 of the third period for his fifth goal of the season after Reimer had been pulled for an extra skater. Dubinsky scored an empty-net goal with 0.9 seconds remaining.

Boston @ Philadelphia 2-3

The Flyers trailed 2-1 entering the third period but turned the game around midway through the period. Streit helped make it pay off with the game-winning goal at 11:32 of the third. He knocked in his own rebound of a Voracek centering pass for his fifth goal of the season but first since Oct. 30. Streit missed six weeks following Nov. 17 surgery to repair a detached pubic plate. The goal came after Simmonds tied it 2-2 at 10:10. Giroux chipped a puck out of the Flyers end to Voracek, who broke out on a 2-on-1 rush with Simmonds. Rask stopped Simmonds' initial shot from the right side, but he knocked in the rebound for his 11th goal. Philadelphia's top line of Giroux, Simmonds and Voracek combined for two goals and five assists. The Flyers led 1-0 after Voracek's goal late in the first period, but the Miller's goal at 8:38 of the second tied the game, and Eriksson's power-play goal at 16:26 of the second gave the Bruins a 2-1 lead.

Florida @ Calgary 0-6

Bennett scored 56 seconds into the game on Calgary's first shot, one-timing a pass from Jiri Hudler from the slot by Luongo's blocker to put the Flames up 1-0. It didn't take long for Bennett to get his first multigoal game in the NHL.
After Gaudreau doubled the lead with his Flames-leading 19th goal at 5:52, Bennett scored again at 12:01 to make it 3-0. After gaining control on a broken play just inside the Panthers blue line, Bennett went in uncontested on Luongo and lost the handle on a deke, but the puck trickled into the back of the net.
Bennett completed the hat trick five minutes later. Deryk Engelland's initial shot was stopped, but he tapped the rebound to Bennett, who lifted a backhand over Luongo's glove to put the Flames ahead 4-0 with 2:59 left in the first. Raymond made it 5-0 at 13:20 of the second period. Montoya couldn't get to Mark Giordano's dump-in, and Raymond redirected David Jones' centering pass into the net before Montoya could reset in his crease. Bennett capped his night by dekeing around Alex Petrovic before beating Montoya with a backhand with 24.2 seconds remaining in the third for his fourth goal of the game and 10th of the season.

Ottawa @ Anaheim 1-4

With the Ducks on a power play, Shea Theodore took a pass from Ryan Getzlaf and beat Senators goalie Craig Anderson high from the left circle. Hagelin and Silfverberg scored at 17:28 and 18:34 to complete the late flurry and leave the Senators wondering what went wrong. Cogliano scored his first goal since Nov. 27 at 7:06 in the second period. A pass from in front of the Ducks net by Kevin Bieksa sent Cogliano up ice, and the latter beat Anderson with a wrist shot from the right circle. Lazar tied the game at 16:12 of the second when he intercepted Getzlaf's pass in the neutral zone and broke away for an unassisted goal.
It was the second time in as many games that an errant pass by Anaheim's captain resulted in a goal. Coach Bruce Boudreau sent a message by sitting Getzlaf through the early minutes of the third period and then demoting him to the fourth line.
